Warum „Firehouse Projects“? Nun, der Name entstand einfach, weil die Leute fragten: „An welchem Projekt arbeitest du heute?“, wenn ich Berge von Sachen zur Feuerwache brachte. Als es also an der Zeit war, diesem Geschäft einen Namen zu geben, kam mir Firehouse Projects in den Sinn. Außerdem sind viele der Produkte von der Feuerwache inspiriert und werden dort hergestellt. So wurde Firehouse Projects geboren.
Es begann damit, dass ich zu Hause ein paar Kissen nähte und lernte, wie man eine einfache Nähmaschine bedient. Dann kam eine selbst gestellte Herausforderung, als ich eine Tasche sah und dachte: „Die kann ich machen.“ Also begann ich mit dem Taschenmachen. Ich genieße die Herausforderung, neue Dinge zu schaffen und funktionale Gegenstände für Menschen herzustellen.
Auf dieser Seite sehen Sie Einzelstücke oder Sonderanfertigungen, die ich anfertige und zum Verkauf anbiete. Was Sie nicht sehen werden, sind Hunderte von Artikeln in Massenproduktion. Darüber hinaus wird ein Teil jedes Verkaufserlöses an eine Wohltätigkeitsorganisation gespendet, die Ersthelfer und Militärangehörige im Kampf gegen psychische Erkrankungen und PTBS unterstützt.

Why "Firehouse Projects"? Well, the name simply came from people asking "what project are you working on today?" When I would bring in piles of stuff to the Firehouse. So when it came time to name this shop, Firehouse Projects was what came to mind. Additionally, many of the products are inspired from and created in the firehouse. Thus, Firehouse Projects was born.
It started with making a few pillows at home and learning on a basic sewing machine. Next came a self declared challenge when I saw a bag and thought "I can make that." So, bag making ensued. I enjoy the challenge of creating new things and making functional items for people.
On this page, you will see one of a kind or custom items that I make and am putting up for sale. What you won't see hundreds of items mass produced. Additionally a portion of every sale will be donated to a charitable organization dedicated to helping First Responders and Military personnel in their fight against mental health and PTSD.
