    Owner

I'm a wife, and mom of 3. I've been creative and crafty my entire life, but have really elevated my talents in the last 5 years. After an overwhelming request for some of my pieces, I decided to open an Etsy shop and send them out into the world.

Frequently asked questions

Custom and personalized orders

I do offer this option! I require an agreement be reached regarding content, cost, and maximum time for creation. Please message me and let me know what you're looking for!

Are the back of your cross stitch/embroidery pieces finished?

Absolutely. Jewelry pieces are generally a wood backing. Pieces in hoops are backed with felt, or sometimes a combination of aida wrapping/piping. My goal is to assure that if you were to buy this as a gift, they would find the entire piece neat and attractive, back and front. I leave no loose ends. For specifics on the piece you're interested in, send me a message!

Do you do machine embroidery in your pieces?

Absolutely not. Every stitch is done by hand, and my designs are unique and hand made by me as well. I feel that machine stitching creates a look that is too polished. I prefer for my pieces to look handmade, in a way that is attractive but would assure that anyone seeing it would know your artwork was not purchased in a department store or mall.

Care instructions

The vast majority of my crochet pieces are made with fabric that is machine washable and able to be tumble dried, color safe and shrinkage proof. In the rare event that this is not the case for your piece, you will find that information in the ad itself.

Cross stitch and embroidery pieces cannot be cleaned, just as you would be unable to clean a painting. I starch pieces to ensure *some* durability, but intricate and/or 3 dimensional aspects are particularly fragile to any handling. Pressure on the cloth can cause dimpling or rippling on the front, or for the backing to come loose. I cannot guarantee color fastness of threads used if they are allowed to become wet.

Gift wrapping and packaging

If you are gifting for a specific occasion, I can usually use appropriate wrapping. If not specified to me, I will wrap in neutral paper and ribbon. Send me a message immediately after purchase letting me know specifics, as well as what you would want a To/From gift card to indicate.
