Rob Diebold è un Senior Graphic Designer della California del Nord con oltre 20 anni di esperienza. È il proprietario di Design Sonoma, uno studio domestico che ha aperto nel 2005. Crea design, fotografia, musica, letteratura e belle arti. Il suo primo album, Time Water, è stato pubblicato nel 2012 con il nome di Manbird Experiment.
Rob si è laureato al programma triennale di graphic design di SRJC, acclamato a livello nazionale, nel 1997. Durante il suo secondo semestre di college il suo lavoro gli è valso un prestigioso premio studentesco SADIES. Ha svolto un tirocinio presso la Anchor & Acorn Press dove ha imparato l'arte fine e quasi perduta della stampa tipografica e dell'operazione di linotype.
Dopo il college, Rob è stato Art Director per sette anni nel campo della grafica architettonica e ambientale, dove ha progettato segnaletica e sistemi di way-finding per molte delle principali istituzioni sanitarie ed educative della regione.
Rob è anche un maestro falconiere e ama far volare i suoi falchi Harris attraverso i bellissimi campi e i buttes della California settentrionale. Ama il campeggio, pettinare la spiaggia e creare arte nella natura come torri di rocce in equilibrio e totem e simboli a tema nativo americano.
Rob Diebold is a Senior Graphic Designer from Northern California with over 20 year experience. He is the owner of Design Sonoma, a home studio which he opened in 2005. He creates design, photography, music, literature, and fine arts. His first album, Time Water, was released in 2012 under the band name of Manbird Experiment.
Rob graduated from SRJC’s nationally acclaimed three year Graphic Design Program in 1997. During his second semester of college his work earned him a prestigious SADIES student award. He interned at Anchor & Acorn Press where he learned the fine and nearly lost art of letterpress printing and linotype operation.
After college, Rob served as Art Director for seven years in the architectural and environmental graphics field where he designed signage and way-finding systems for many of the major health care and educational institutions in the region.
Rob is also a master falconer and loves to fly his Harris’s hawks across the beautiful fields and buttes of Northern California. He loves camping, beach combing, and creating art in nature such as towers of balancing rocks and Native American themed totems and symbols.
