I've been in love with vintage fashion since I was a little girl. My mom wore the most beautiful dresses ever in the early 60's. Now that I am her age, I realize fashion trends have been copied since the early 1900's.

Maybe you are old enough to remember the drop-waist dresses in the 60's, reminiscent of the rebellious 1920's. Or the Edwardian ruffles and lace of the 1970's which brought back the romance of the Victorian era. The New Look, 1950's full skirt is on trend today and still the ultimate feminine fashion.

There is no substitute for the rush of discovering a genuine garment, still wearable--that fits! But face it, ladies, vintage is getting harder and harder to find. Fortunately, patterns and materials from bygone eras live on for inspiration and regeneration!

I love the hunt--finding a sweet cache of vintage patterns and passing them on to you (except for the ones I just can't part with, of course :)
