A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That
Snack Plate Studio ist der Ladenzweig eines kreativen Lebens, das sich nicht auf einen einzigen Weg festlegen will. Drucke, Muster, Papierwaren und gelegentlich auch Kuriositäten werden von Karin Bolstad, einer Malerin, Illustratorin und Kunsthandwerkerin aus dem pazifischen Nordwesten, hergestellt.
Der Name stammt von meiner Lieblingsmahlzeit: von allem etwas auf einem Teller. So mache ich auch Kunst (lebe mein Leben). Kein einheitlicher Stil, sondern ein Werk, das sich mit meiner Neugierde stetig weiterentwickelt.
Hier werden die Produkte in kleinen Serien gefertigt oder auf Bestellung gedruckt. Der Tisch wird gedeckt, wenn es etwas Wertvolles zu bieten gibt, und abgeräumt, wenn er vergriffen ist. Kein ständig geöffneter Shop, nur gute Sachen, wenn sie fertig sind.

Snack Plate Studio is the shop arm of a creative life that refuses to pick just one lane. Prints, patterns, paper goods, and occasional oddities made by Karin Bolstad, a painter, illustrator, and maker based in the Pacific Northwest.
The name comes from my favorite kind of meal: a little of everything on one plate. That's also how I make art (live my life). No single signature style, just a body of work that keeps moving with my curiosities.
Things here are made in small batches or printed on demand. The table is set when there's something worth offering, and is cleared when it's done. No always-on shop, just good things when they're ready.
