J'ai toujours été fascinée par les sacs à main. Petite, je me pinçais sans cesse les doigts dans les pochettes à armature métallique, et pourtant, je ne m'en lassais pas. J'étais hypnotisée par leur mécanisme d'ouverture et de fermeture, par les compartiments pour le fard à joues, la monnaie et les miroirs. Au fil des années, ces compartiments ont évolué : d'abord, je les remplissais de jouets et de bonbons, puis de maquillage et d'argent, et maintenant, de tout ce dont mes enfants ont besoin. Si jamais vous avez besoin d'un feutre, de gel hydroalcoolique, d'un pansement, d'un goûter, de crayons de couleur ou d'autocollants, je peux vous dépanner !
En 1999, on m'a proposé un poste de vendeuse de sacs à main à Florence, en Italie, et je n'ai pas hésité une seconde ! Face à la profusion de contrefaçons de créateurs dans les rues, j'ai appris à maîtriser les détails qui font la qualité d'un sac authentique. Ma fascination s'est ensuite portée sur la confection des sacs. J'adorais la façon dont des éléments comme les coutures, les accessoires métalliques, la taille des anses et le type de cuir conféraient à chaque sac une apparence et un toucher uniques.
Au fil des ans, ma passion pour les sacs ne m'a jamais vraiment quittée. L'arrivée de mes enfants a été une excellente façon d'explorer ma créativité et ma passion sous un nouvel angle. Mon premier sac « officiel » a été conçu avec l'aide de mes deux petits. Il était orné d'écussons et de dessins qui ont pris vie. J'étais constamment remarquée.
Quand l'occasion s'est présentée de créer ma propre collection de sacs, je l'ai saisie sans hésiter et je n'ai jamais regretté mon choix. Il n'y a rien de plus gratifiant que de voir mes amis et mes clients heureux et confiants grâce à un sac que j'ai contribué à leur offrir.

I have always been fascinated with handbags. As a little girl I would always get my fingers pinched in the metal framed purses, and I still couldn’t get enough of them. I was always mesmerized with how they opened and closed, the compartments for blush, coins and mirrors, and that shifted over the years from stuffing those compartments with toys and candy to makeup and money and now whatever my kids need at any given time. If you ever need a sharpie, hand sanitizer, a band-aid, snack, crayons or stickers, I can help you out!
In 1999, I was offered an opportunity to work in retail selling handbags in Florence, Italy and I did not hesitate! There were so many designer copies on the street, I learned to become an expert on the details that went into making a legitimate, quality bag. My fascination evolved into the construction of the bags. I loved how things like stitching, hardware, size of handles and the type of leather made each bag look and feel completely different.
Over the years the “bag bug” never got too far away from me. When I had children it was a great way for me to explore my creativity and passion through new eyes. My first “official” bag was designed with the help of my two little ones. It had patches and artwork that took on a life of its own. I got stopped everywhere.
When the opportunity came for me to put together a collection of my own bags, I jumped right in and never looked back. There is no better feeling than seeing friends and clients happy and confident because of something I helped put in their hands.
