The library that never closes.
Die Nachtbibliothek ist für jene Stunde der Nacht, wenn es im Haus still geworden ist und man noch mit einem Buch wach ist. Die Lampe brennt, das Kapitel ist spannend, und niemand braucht einen bis zum Morgen. Wir basteln Kerzen für diese Stunde und haben den Ort danach benannt, denn es ist die einzige Bibliothek, die niemals schließt.
Es gibt sechs Kerzen auf zwei Regalen. Die drei „After Dark“-Kerzen stehen für die tiefste Nacht, das sanfte Licht der Lampe und die letzten Seiten des Buches. Die drei „Open Hours“-Kerzen sind wärmer, für das verklingende Feuer und das erste Licht, das hereinbricht. Jede Kerze ist nach einem Ort im Haus benannt, an dem man gerne liest, denn so erinnern wir uns meist an einen Duft: nicht an seine Duftnoten, sondern an den Ort, an dem wir waren.
Jede Kerze wird nach Ihrer Bestellung in den USA in einem 255-g-Glas mit Baumwolldocht gegossen. Wir geben eine Lieferzeit von etwa zwei Wochen an, damit niemand lange warten muss. Wir tun jedoch alles, um Ihre Kerze so schnell wie möglich zu liefern.
Night Library is for the part of the night when the house has gone quiet and you are still up with a book. The lamp is on, the chapter is good, and nobody needs you for anything until morning. We make candles for that hour, and we named the place after it, because it is the only library that never closes.
There are six candles, on two shelves. The three on After Dark are for the deep end of the night, the low lamp and the last few pages. The three on Open Hours are warmer, for the fire burning down and the first light coming in. Each one is named for a spot in the house where you might sit and read, because that is how most of us remember a scent. Not by the notes in it, but by where we were.
Every candle is poured after you order it, in the USA, in a 9 oz jar with a cotton wick. We say allow about two weeks so that nobody is left waiting on a promise, but we do everything we can to get yours to you quicker than that.
