Depuis plus de 30 ans, Walt vit aux Fidji, où il se consacre à l'art et à la restauration de l'environnement. Architecte de formation (1970), sa carrière prend un tournant décisif en 1989 lorsqu'il s'installe dans le Pacifique Sud et devient un pionnier de la culture corallienne. Avec son épouse, Deborah, il fonde le projet ADE, une initiative novatrice axée sur la restauration des récifs coralliens.
Profondément inspiré par la vie marine foisonnante et la richesse culturelle des Fidji, Walt est revenu à sa première passion : l’art. Son œuvre unique mêle des interprétations abstraites de l’humain et du monde sous-marin, capturant l’essence même de la beauté naturelle et du patrimoine fidjien. À travers son art, il partage sa vision avec un public international, sensibilisant à l’importance de la préservation des récifs coralliens.
Chaque œuvre de Walt est bien plus qu'une simple création artistique : c'est un engagement pour la préservation des récifs coralliens des Fidji. Une partie des bénéfices de chaque vente est reversée au projet ADE, garantissant ainsi la pérennité de sa passion pour le développement durable.
For over 30 years, Walt has called Fiji home, dedicating his life to both art and environmental restoration. Originally trained as an architect in 1970, his career took a transformative turn in 1989 when he moved to the South Pacific and became a pioneer in coral farming. Alongside his wife, Deborah, he founded the ADE Project, a groundbreaking initiative focused on coral reef restoration.
Deeply inspired by the vibrant marine life and the rich culture of Fiji, Walt returned to his first passion—art. His work uniquely blends abstract interpretations of people and the underwater world, capturing the essence of Fiji’s natural beauty and heritage. Through his art, he shares his vision with audiences worldwide, raising awareness of the importance of reef conservation.
