This PREMIUM tufting cloth is the highest quality rug primary backing available on the market. It is specifically designed for the rug tufting industry, and used by professional and industrial rug manufacturers.

This tufting cloth is made of a tighter weave (Density: 70/70 threads per 10 cm compared to 60/60 threads for standard tufting cloth) allowing you to create straighter lines and curves, and achieving a greater yarn density in order to make professional rugs that last forever.

It stays stretched drum tight without the need to re-stretching constantly.

Because this primary backing is made of a tighter weave, it creates less unwanted holes from your tufting needle. This makes tufting easier because the weaving pattern keeps its original aspect and stays more consistent, which helps making rugs with a uniform density.

Very resistant, this rug tufting backing fabric is more forgiving when you make a mistake and you need to re-tuft in the same area.

Extremely strong and durable, this primary rug baking cloth works great with all types of tufting guns and is pleasant and easy to work with. Because of its tight weaving pattern and its strong polyester fibers, this gray canvas backing is the strongest and most resilient tufting cloth you can find. It is less likely to tear than monks cloth.
