Woodgrain patterns, subtle designs, delicate and light-coloured flowers look best on matte cases. Marbled, abstract, mosaic patterns and all strong, vivid floral designs including the Strawberry Thief are preferred on gloss. Both will feel great in your hand. But gloss finish is LESS SLIPPERY than matte. If you drop your phone a lot, then gloss might be the best choice for you!
