How do I mark locations?

We can carve hearts or stars to mark locations. These location markers are permanent fixtures of the wood. They are not removable, and we do not sell these individually for future markings. We recommend using push pins or small nails if you want to mark future locations. The push pins will not go in as easy as they will on cork board or sheetrock, but with some force they can be pinned by hand. How heavy is your Wall Decor?

Our wall decor is made of solid pine - which is a lightweight wood. Our largest single panel (22 x 46) weighs around 15 lbs. Our smaller (15x24) items weight around 7 lbs. All items have either a cable wire or saw tooth hanger on the back.

Can I mark the map with pins or nails?

YES! It is solid pine, but the wood is fairly soft. Most push pins should work, but we recommend using small gold (or any color for that matter) nails.

What do we use to have guests sign our item?

Any permanent marker will work - we recommend fine tip. We spray all of our pieces with a protective clear coat. If many people will be signing, take that into consideration for which size you want. We recommend putting a nice note beside the item letting your guests know to sign legibly but small enough to accommodate other guest signatures. We also recommend that you have close friends or family sign first, prior to the big day, to make sure the pen you want to use will work the way you want it to. And, to give the first guests that sign an idea how big they should sign. You can sign the main board as well as the carving (if you have different color markers).

If I order a larger map, does that mean the carving is larger as well?

YES! The size of the carving is going to be dictated by the size of the item you order. Our 22 x 46 world map will have a larger carving than the 15 x 24. In other words, the carving is proportional to the size that is ordered.

Are your items made of reclaimed wood?

NO! Any of our items that appear to be made of reclaimed wood, are made of new wood that has been painted, distressed, and sanded to give it the appearance of reclaimed wood.

Can I add a quote, name, saying, bible passage, etc?

Yes! Each of our listings should guide you through how to add your own text. If nothing else, send us a message, and we will walk you through the process. We will send mock ups for approval on all customized orders. Please be on the lookout for those messages to be sent through Etsy Conversations.

Can I go larger than 22 x 46?

YES! We can do any of our items in multiple panels. Just message us, and we can go over the options.

FREE S/H - our processing times will vary throughout the year, but we generally get our items made up and sent out within 1 to 2 weeks. When we get busy, it can push closer to 3 weeks. During Christmas, it may be 4-5 weeks. If you are needing any item by a specific date, please message us or include those notes with your order. We will let you know if it is going to be possible. If the order has been placed, and our timing won't work out, we can always cancel your order with a full refund.
