*Rack height can be customized to fit the space between your countertop and the upper wall cabinets. In the US this distance is typically 18 inches (457mm) but can vary depending on the original construction, kitchen renovations and new countertops. At checkout you will be asked to measure and inform the height between your countertop and the bottom of the upper wall cabinet. I will make your wine rack to fit this space with a small clearance. Once I receive your order with the measurement I will confirm if this rack will fit your available space. Custom sizes and other bottle layouts are also possible as a special order.

M A T E R I A L S
Premium materials and finishes are used throughout. The two wood panels are shaped from genuine Baltic birch from Russia, a premium grade of plywood commonly used for musical instruments, sporting equipment and Scandinavian eco furniture. The wood is protected by a water-based satin clear coat finish with low VOC (volatile organic compounds) so the rack is free of odor and safe. All optional darker wood stains are also water-based and low VOC. The two accent rods are machined from aircraft grade aluminum alloy for strength and finished with a long lasting satin anodized finish. The screws are stainless steel. The rack is very lightweight and yet very strong.

The rack is made right here in Colorado next to the Rocky mountains at the design studios of LineColorDesign™. The two aluminum threaded rods are machined to exact dimensions on the lathe. The two wood panels are cut to precise dimensions by CNC followed by sanding and several coats of satin clear coat finish for a silky smooth wood surface that looks great and brings out the natural wood grain and colors. Darker wood stains are also available to customize the rack color to fit your needs. Each rack is assembled and tested before shipping so you can be assured parts will fit together perfectly for a trouble-free assembly.

This wine rack was made to fit smaller spaces such as studios and apartments that often have a more contemporary interior design style so I gave it a simple and functional aesthetic inspired by Scandinavian design. This wine rack is also more in tune with the latest wine bottles and label trends that show a clean contemporary look, almost like modern art. The rack provides safe bottle storage within a dedicated wine storage area in your kitchen or home. The open frame highlights the shape and colors of your bottles and makes it easy to identify the labels. Simple lines without ornamentations and rounded corners provide a softer friendly look. The two wood panels provide warmth and texture while the anodized aluminum rods provide a modern touch. The two aluminum rods provide exceptional strength to the lightweight space structure designed on the computer using 3D CAD software. The curves on all four corners protect your furniture and home from bumps and scratches. In the vertical position the rack has a very small 6x8 inch (153 x 203mm) footprint to fit the smallest spaces. Can be used in the horizontal position on a console or table or vertical on the kitchen counter or as a floor standing unit in an unused corner of your space. For more wine storage capacity you can put two or more racks side by side or create a mini wine cellar in the basement. Assembly is very easy and fast using the provided hex tool and Illustrated instructions. An exceptionally well finished product with a simple contemporary look that you will enjoy for many years.

During checkout you can select either a standard clear coat wood finish that is stain-proof and water resistant, or you can select up to six different wood finishes as follows: Unfinished Baltic birch, Natural Clear Coat, Rustic Cherry Stain, Rustic Walnut Stain, Rustic Mahogany Stain, Black Stain. All stain finishes are also protected by a waterproof Clear Coat. See listing picture that show the color options. The unfinished Baltic birch option is made available for those who want to apply their own DIY wood finish.

S H I P P I N G
The rack is packaged with multiple layers of protection and shipped in a special flat-pack box. Orders are shipped by USPS Ground service for approximately one week delivery to East Coast or West Coast and a 3-4 days for central states. You can upgrade to faster delivery at checkout.
