What's the best size label to get for my jar?

Labels can be applied to canning jar lids or the front of the glass jar. Mason canning jars can have either regular mouth or wide mouth lids. Please refer to the chart photo on Etsy to determine what size you need for your lids. https://i.etsystatic.com/5898555/r/il/d7ceaf/1261784824/il_1588xN.1261784824_33pg.jpg

What size jars do your cloth jam jar covers fit?

Fabric cloth covers are pre-cut to 6" circles since that works on most canning jar sizes. The 6" covers fit on regular mouth or wide mouth jars. Please refer to the size charts on my blog to see how cloth toppers look on various sized jars. https://i.etsystatic.com/5898555/r/il/c98401/1252874176/il_1588xN.1252874176_ntox.jpg

Are your canning labels easy to write on?

Yes! We print only on matte paper labels. Matte paper stock allows you to easily write on them with any marker or pen without smearing. But, we do recommend letting the ink dry a little before applying them to your surface.

Are your labels waterproof? Can they be used for freezer foods?

Our labels are paper, not vinyl. So they aren’t 100% waterproof. They're printed on a high end laser printer, so the colors won’t run and bleed like an inkjet print if they get wet. Our labels can be used for freezer foods. However the paper will ripple slightly due to condensation and moisture.

Are you able to do custom label orders?

We can adjust labels for a customization fee or design NEW labels! OUR PROCESS: 1. We give you a price quote for your project. 2. After price quote approval, we create a custom order for you to purchase BEFORE we begin design work. 3. After purchase, we send a low-res watermarked JPEG proof for review. If you request revisions outside of your original request, we can give you a revised quote. 4. Once approved, we will print & ship. ★ Custom design fees are NOT refundable since they pay for our time. ★ You will NOT be given digital art files to print yourself. ★ You DO NOT own the copyright of our custom design. Do NOT reproduce our labels for logos or marketing materials. ★ Colors on computer monitors may vary slightly from printed labels.

Do you sell digital download labels so I can print myself? Or can you print MY own label design?

No. We only sell printed labels. You will NOT receive digital art files to print yourself. You will not “own” our designs. We retain the copyright for all of our custom labels. We can print customer-provided designs for an additional fee. We can also add logos or photos to our labels. Art needs to be high resolution & free of any copyright issues. We will need to inspect the art in order to provide a price quote. Please contact us for details & requirements. http://www.etsy.com/convo_new.php?to_username=CanningCrafts

Made by CanningCrafts
Ships from Ohio! Shorter shipping distances are kinder to the planet
Materials: Set of 12 cloth jar covers

Red Buffalo Plaid snowflake Christmas jam jar covers are perfect for holiday gift giving home preserved canned goods. Red and black holiday cloth jar toppers make Christmas mason jar gifts festive. Add to jam, jelly, salsa, or mason jar cookie gifts.
★ You get 12 round 6" fabric covers to put under or over canning jar rings.
★ Cloth covers are cut with zig zag edges to minimize fraying. You can add adhesive labels on top of the cloth cover too. Please note: fabric is cut by hand, so shape & size will vary slightly.

★ The fabric covers in the photos are shown on regular mouth jars. The 6" covers will still fit on wide mouth jars, but about half of the fabric will show around the edges of the lid compared to what the jars in my photos show. See 5th photo for size chart.
