Medieval Chest Armor No.1 - Printable DIY EVA foam cosplay pattern, scalable PDF template

DIGITAL ITEM (print-only PDF file - 14 pages): This is a printable EVA foam template that can be used to craft a medieval chest armor with an optional neck guard. Please be aware - quite a few edges require to be cut with a very specific angle, so previous experience with EVA foam crafting is highly recommended. Overall this is a great looking and versatile base that can be used for many next cosplay projects. It is ideal if you are a foam smith, fan, collector, or planning to cosplay.

WHAT IS INCLUDED
17-page print-only PDF file (digital template) set to print on US letter/or A4 paper size. All patterns are at a 1:1 scale, clearly marked and labelled with symbols and markers to give you a straightforward and pleasant crafting experience. Step-by-step drawings will help you with the most effective assembly order. Don’t forget to familiarise yourself with symbols, an edge-cutting chart, and recommended foam thicknesses on the explanatory page.

SIZE & FIT
Armour is scaled to fit an average adult person and fit a 100cm chest and 100cm waist circumference at 100% printing scale. In case you need a smaller/bigger one - there is an additional PDF file provided with more info to help you with the scaling process

EVA FOAM THICKNESS & QUANTITIES
To successfully build this project you will need:
8mm EVA foam: (170x60cm minimum*)
Please keep in mind that the quantities above are the very minimum to craft just 1x helmet at standard size (100% printing scale). I highly recommend getting more foam - just to have extra material in case of any cutting mistakes or adjustments when crafting.

YOUTUBE STEP-BY-STEP VIDEO
Unfortunately, I don’t have at the moment a tutorial for this specific pattern. The good news is that the assembly process is very similar across all the projects - so make sure to check my YouTube channel and watch videos on other, similar projects, learn how to adjust the printing scale for your head size, how to apply contact cement glue and many more that will help you with your build. SKILLS LEVEL
Intermedia - some previous EVA foam crafting experience is highly recommended. This project might require cutting some parts' edges at a specific angle and the assembly is a bit more complex, so make sure to check twice before you cut and refer to the assembly instructions.
