I strive to create beginner friendly patterns, and to make sure you have all the instruction you need, I've created a full video walkthrough of this project to accompany this written tutorial, which you can find on the Pin Cut Sew YouTube channel.

This pattern does NOT include quilt piecing instructions. The quilted cover is one of the ideas for creative options, but the tutorial is for a single fabric version of the journal cover. It DOES include instructions for the elastic bookmark and pen holder.
