International delivery occurs AFTER the order ships and varies by country and whether the order is TRACKED or untracked. The delivery dates shown on Etsy are ESTIMATES only. Most buyers receive their orders sooner, but with standard shipping ($3.75–$4.00) there is NO TRACKING (orders are sent via letter mail), so Etsy’s dates are generated based on what we input into the system. For example: One of the shipping settings is set to "Custom" and we type in the delivery dates (15 to 30 days, 7 to 21 days etc). The ONLY way to get ACCURATE delivery updates is to upgrade to tracked shipping at checkout.

However, due to postal restrictions and the length of many guides (one full page), not all instructions can be printed and enclosed. 📱 Scan the QR code on your seed label using any QR code scanner or the Google Lens app (great for instant translation into your language using the camera feature). 💻 For the most detailed and up-to-date instructions, please visit our website. We do update the planting instructions when necessary. If you'd prefer a PDF by email, just send us a message—we’re happy to help!

What are your shipping options and prices?

Standard shipping DOES NOT include tracking. If you want guaranteed delivery, please UPGRADE to tracked shipping at checkout. If a refund or replacement is ever needed, all future orders must include tracking or they may be canceled. We are not responsible for lost items, postal issues, or customs delays without tracking. Choosing tracked shipping helps ensure a smooth and secure delivery. 😊 Estimated delivery times are just that—estimates. Actual delivery may vary depending on postal service delays or customs inspections. Once an order has shipped, delays are beyond our control.

USA Orders – USDA Permit Requirement

1. A USDA permit is required for all U.S. orders. By placing an order, you agree that we will create this permit on your behalf unless you request otherwise. 2. IMPORTANT: Please include your phone number in the “Note to Seller” section at checkout or send it to us via message. If no phone number is provided, your order may be delayed, shipped at your own risk, or canceled. USDA occasionally contacts buyers or us to verify shipments, and if they cannot reach anyone, they may hold or delay your package. (My phone number is also listed on the permit for this reason.) 3. Without a USDA permit, U.S. customs will destroy the seeds and may return only an empty envelope as this is a violation of the Plant Protection Act.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship worldwide (with some exceptions)—but please note: We are NOT responsible for delays, seizures, or losses caused by customs OUTSIDE the U.S., Canada, and within the EU. Buyers in all other countries (Brazil, Mexico, Israel etc) order at their own risk. It is the BUYER'S RESPONSIBILITY to check local import regulations BEFORE ordering. If seeds are confiscated or destroyed by customs, we CANNOT offer refunds or replacements.

What is your processing time?

🕒 Processing time is SEPARATE from shipping time. Every order is hand-packed and we process them in the order they are received. Orders are typically processed within 1–3 weeks, Monday to Friday ONLY and NOT on German holidays. During PEAK SEASONS, it may take a BIT LONGER, so we recommend ordering in ADVANCE. 📦 USA Orders: Usually takes 2–3 weeks to process. This includes the time needed to create USDA permits, send required emails, and receive buyer phone numbers. A valid phone number is required by law, and missing information can cause delays. 🌍 EU & Canada Orders: Typically processed within 1–2 weeks. Could take up to 3 weeks during peak season. ⚠️ Please note: Etsy only allows one listed processing time for all orders.

🌱 Germination Policy – No Guaranteed Results, But We're Willing to Help

Please message us before leaving a review—we’re happy to work with you! All seeds are tested for quality and viability before sale, but most do not have a 100% germination rate. We provide detailed instructions to help you succeed, but germination depends on many factors—like temperature, moisture, soil, timing, and technique—which are beyond our control once the seeds leave our care. For this reason, we do not offer guaranteed refunds or replacements for failed germination. That said, we genuinely want to support thoughtful and respectful customers. If you didn’t get results but reached out politely, we may offer a replacement or partial refund at our discretion.

How are the seeds packed?

Each seed variety is first packed in a glassine bag, then placed inside a small ziplock bag for added protection. Every packet is clearly labeled with the genus, species, and variety of the plant. We ship orders in compact bubble mailers that can typically hold up to 10 seed packets, depending on seed size. This minimalist packaging helps reduce waste, keeps costs down, and complies with international customs requirements. We're also working on finding eco-friendly alternatives to ziplock bags in the future.

Where are you located?

Our business is registered in California, where we also hold our business and seed import permits. Returns can be sent to our Anaheim, CA address. While we do not offer local pickup, we can occasionally ship from California in emergency situations. At the moment, orders are being shipped from Germany. We are fully permitted to ship seeds to the U.S. under a valid USDA import permit, and since we’re currently based in Europe, we’re also able to ship easily within the EU.

Do you provide Phytosanitary Certificates?

At this time, we do not provide Phytosanitary Certificates. These certificates are costly and must be arranged and paid for by the buyer. Please note: The free USDA permits we create for U.S. orders are not the same as Phytosanitary Certificates. USDA permits allow legal entry of seeds into the U.S. and are sufficient for home gardeners.

Amaranthus are annuals or short-lived perennials, grown for their dense panicles of tiny flowers or their colorful foliage. Grow in a sunny position in fertile, well-drained soil (neutral to acidic). Will tolerate partial shade and will grow adequately in poor soils. Dense clay soils are unsuitable for Amaranths. Commonly known as Love-lies-bleeding, Amaranth, Tassel flower, Pigweeds, Prince’s feather, Chinese spinach, Tampala. Some species are cultivated as leaf vegetables and some as ornamental plants.The densely packed flowers grow in summer or autumn with a range of colors from maroon to crimson and can grow up to 3 to 8 feet (1 to 2.5m). The stems are often reddish in color and a single plant can produce hundreds or thousands of seeds, borne singly in dry capsule fruits.
