Published in 2002 and constantly in print until just recently, my comprehensive first book fully outlines my approach to freeform knitting and crochet, telling you absolutely everything that I had found worked for me at the time that I wrote it.
Not long ago, I decided that I wouldn't reprint the book again, but I am happy to announce that I can now offer it to you as an e-book, in PDF format. You can now purchase it at a much lower price, and with zero shipping costs.
This e-book is certainly more about creative techniques than about blindly duplicating any follow-by-numbers designs, but it has exactly the same content as the 87 page book that has sold so well over the past 10 years.
'Freeform - serendipitous design techniques for knitting and crochet' will lead you towards creating your own freeform masterpieces, just like I do.
Along with chapters such as -finding the right yarn- -choosing your colours- -fabrication- and -some assembly required- there is also a chapter outlining many knit and crochet stitches that work well for this style of designing, along with lots of hints and tips, and advice on why certain approaches often work better than others. It also contains lots of high resolution photos of my finished pieces, to help inspire you.
With a little bit of experimentation (the results of which could be incorporated into your very own freeform masterpiece) you will soon find yourself freeforming just like me.
Due to file size limitations, the book is downloadable from Etsy as two PDF files. You will receive the details of how to download these files (approximately 20MB each) once you have made the purchase. If you have any issues with the file, please contact me directly.
