Peter’s Feeders S-11 Sunflower/All Purpose Feeder has been popular for as long as we’ve been in business...30 years now! It was the very first bird feeder we designed and with improvements made over the years it is still a favorite bird feeder for wild bird feeding enthusiasts all over the country.

As with all of our feeders, we construct them from a heavy 1/8" thick impact resistant plastic designed for outdoor use. The S-11 has 6 feeding stations as well as a generous tray at the bottom for dropped seeds. The seed tray also serves as a feeding platform for some of the larger birds who will frequent this feeder (Cardinals, Grosbeaks, and Woodpeckers to name a few). Although we prefer using Black Oil Sunflower Seed because of its high nutritional content, the S-11's specially designed interior seed baffles on all 6 feeding stations allow you to use any sized seed you desire.

Another feature of this feeder is that the body of the S-11 is highly reflective and you will see reflections of the birds using the feeder as well as colors from your yard and garden. The easy lift up top makes filling this feeder a snap. We highly recommend this feeder to increase the numbers and varieties of birds who will visit your yard. You can expect Black-capped Chickadees, American Goldfinches, House Finches, Purple Finches, Pine Siskins, Cardinals, Grosbeaks, Dark-eyed Juncos, Woodpeckers, Redpolls and many more to visit this versatile feeder!

When I saw the first reviews, I thought you people were exaggerating but sure enough I install this and not thirty minutes later a pair of chickadees were investigating! This is a wondrful feader which the birds are enjoying and the rodent cannot seem to figure out. Thank you!

The feeder is very well designed and built. Unfortunately the birds won’t eat the sunflower seeds that are in there right now. I will replace with sunflower hearts and see what happens. I like the feeder a lot and hope they use it.
