For your consideration is a vintage late 40’s to early 50’s cusp black cotton twill A-line skirt with lovely hand-done cross stitch embroidery depicting a mannequin in a floral gown, a flower bouquet, and a stamp of Paris with the Eiffel Tower. There are beads in the embroidery to give a 3D effect and gold tinsel for sparkle. Ombré pink thread for dimension. Side metal zipper with hook and eye closure at the waistband. No tags or labels.

Condition is great. Some of the gold tinsel embroidery has broken off, only noticeable upon inspection. Very subtle fade spots on the front of the black cotton skirt that came up when I was photographing, but I couldn’t see it with my naked eye. If you look closely you can see them in the first slide, between the mannequin and the stamp.
