Laser cutting projects, general CNC programming spur gear files for download. These industrial grade precision interchangeable gear files will perform in all situations. The gears are all 10DP (2.54 Module) 20 degree pressure angle. A backlash of.003" is included on all gears. They will mesh with any other 10DP files I publish. The backlash will ensure a low friction, smooth, and quite operation.

The true involute form on every gear tooth is precise within .0005" or .001mm. These gear patterns can be used for cutting wood, or precision machining of metal as well. If you are looking for smooth meshing, true working gears, these download files will work great for you. If you are looking for gears to decorate with, you can use these with confidence that they represent an actual gear form. If you would prefer a different number of teeth, or something else, please send me a message.

All gears will mesh with each other, or the provided rack as well. You can scale the entire set, and all of the gears will still mesh properly with each other.

The pitch diameter equals the number of teeth/10. The center distance between any 2 gears can be calculated by adding the two pitch diameters, and dividing the total by 2.0.
