Every order from The Leather Store ships free worldwide, straight from my studio to your door. No sneaky charges at the checkout, no surprises when your parcel arrives at the door. For my customers in the US, I know import duties and tariffs can be a worry right now. All tariffs and duties are fully covered in the price you pay at checkout. Every order is sent with full tracked delivery, so you can follow your order's journey from me to your door. You'll receive a shipping notification and tracking number to let you know your order is on its way to you!

I'm in the US. Will I have to pay import taxes or tariffs on top of the price?

Absolutely not. When you buy from The Leather Store, the price you see is the price you pay. Full stop. All import duties, tariffs, and shipping costs are already included. There are no additional charges when your bag arrives, no customs bill, no unexpected fees, nothing to pay at the door. I ship to the US via Royal Mail with full tracking, and your bag will typically arrive within 5-7 working days. I want shopping with me to feel as easy and worry-free as buying from a shop on your own doorstep 😊

How quickly will you send my order?

I personally pack every order within 1–3 working days. You'll receive a shipping notification with your tracking number when your order is on its way to you! 😊

When can I expect my order to arrive?

All orders worldwide are sent via Royal Mail with full tracking included. 🇬🇧 UK orders typically arrive within 2-3 working days of dispatch. 🇺🇸 US & Canadian orders generally arrive within 5–7 working days. 🌍 Rest of the World - most orders arrive within 7–14 working days, though this can vary a little depending on your location. What if my bag isn't quite right for me?

I want you to love your bag, and whilst returns are very rare, I completely understand that occasionally something isn't quite right. I offer a full refund on unused items, returned unmarked with all tags attached, within 21 days of delivery. Please contact me first and I'll guide you through the process. Worth knowing: return postage is the buyer's responsibility. Rather than a direct exchange, I refund the returned item and you're welcome to place a fresh order for the bag you'd prefer. If you're unsure whether a bag is right for you, just message me. I'm always happy to help you choose. 💛

What makes your leather special - is it sustainable?

Every bag begins with the leather and choosing the right hide is one of my favourite parts of the process. I use only full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather produced by a family-run tannery with generations of expertise. Vegetable tanning is the most environmentally friendly method available, using natural materials rather than harsh chemicals resulting in leather that's beautiful, durable, and gets better with age. All my leathers are chrome-free, REACH compliant, and SA8000 certified, meeting the highest standards for environmental responsibility and ethical production. I don't take fully custom orders, but I'm always happy to help you find the perfect bag from my collection.

How do I care for my leather bag?

Leather is wonderfully low-maintenance. I want your bag to look beautiful for years to come, so every order includes a leather care kit: a pot of natural Renapur leather balm, a sponge, and a cotton dust bag, all tucked inside your parcel. Renapur is one of Britain's leading leather care brands. A little applied occasionally with the sponge will keep your bag supple, nourished, and looking its best for years to come. A few simple habits help too: avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or rain, and store your bag in its dust bag when not in use. This bag is exceptionally beautiful. The leather is soft and buttery. The lining is bright (I can’t find anything in darkly lined bags). It fits my 14” wide laptop, foldable keyboard, day-timer, and other work related items easily. This would be a really lovely gift for the work person in your life.
