The Waves of Hope Hat is designed in a simple way of crocheting a flat piece in the shape of a rectangle. It is then seamed together and sewn together at the top to close the hat. To adjust the height of the hat you can simply fold the base to make it the right height.

The Waves of Hope Hat is made in a very light weight worsted yarn (very close to a dk) which makes it light weight, ideal for cool mornings or evenings.

Materials Needed:
Crochet Hook Size H (5.00 mm)
Worsted Weight Yarn (#4)
Approximately 190 -225 Yards in Main Color

I always love her patterns. I made 2 variations of this hat. One with a generous fold up brim and another that has ears when worn. As always, the pattern was easy to follow and works up quickly once you get the hang of the stitch. I love the texture.

The hat came out great! I wish there was more information about the end concerning looping the top of the hat together and tightening it, I wish there were pictures! Overall a great pattern!
