Gold teardrop threaders

These teardrop hoop earrings feature a dainty and lightweight design perfect for an understated modern look. Each piece is handmade and created using 14k gold filled material using ethical and recycled metals. The thread through hoops have a gently hammered finish and are approximately 3/4" in length. The listing is for one pair of threaders

To wear, push the ends gently away from each other before threading through your piercing. (Be sure not pull apart as this will misshapen the earring) Once in place, push the ends back together to close the gap and pinch to align if needed.

What is Gold Filled?

Gold filled metal is a solid layer of 14k gold that has been permanently bonded to a base metal. The minimum layer of gold must equal at least 1/20th the weight of the total item. Gold filled metal has almost 100x more gold than gold plated jewellery so unlike plated jewellery it is tarnish resistant and it will not rub off, peel or flake.

Sustainable Making

Each piece has been designed with sustainability in mind, every cut-off metal right down to dust is reused and recycled within the studio. We use recycled and sustainable materials, and all items are made in small batches or to order to combat overproduction and produce minimal waste.

Your items will be beautifully packaged in recyclable and plastic free materials. Our items are presented in either gift boxes, bags or pouches.

Silver, brass and copper does naturally darken over time which can be very beautiful. You can make your piece shine by gently buffing it clean with a soft polishing cloth.

To keep your item looking its best avoid contact with perfume, lotions, or any chemicals and store in an air tight container. If your item comes into contact with water, wipe dry immediately to prevent tarnishing and darkening of the metal. Care instructions will be provided with your order.

If you decide that your purchase isn't for you or you would like a different size, you can return it in it's original condition, within 14 days of delivery (excluding earrings). Please contact us to arrange your return and we will refund the purchase price on receipt of the returned item. Please note, in the event of a refund or exchange, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs, including any customs fees incurred.

Please note we are unable to accept returns of earrings due to hygiene reasons. However if your item has arrived unexpectedly damaged please contact us and we will resolve this with you as quickly as possible.

Beautiful hair pin, it does struggle a bit to maintain its shape when I'm putting my hair up - but I have very thick hair...probably more suited to finer hair, or half-up does.
