This features 32 playing cards for you to print that contain prompts for you to read from your shelf. Your order also comes with 16 draw cards, which you use to draw from your From Your Shelf Deck. This makes the game more exciting than just drawing a card from the top. I recommend for you to print on heavy card stock, laminate and then cut and punch the corners. You can easily do this at home, or send to a print shop.

Examples of prompts: Randomly generate a number and read that book off your shelf. Read a book that matches your shirt. Read a book that was gifted to you. Read a book that is between 200-300 pages.

I created this TBR card game for my own YouTube channel [J A C Q U E L I N E] in order to make picking my next book exciting. Every month, I would decide how many cards of each deck I am including to create my official TBR deck. I include cards from all 4 decks: Reading from my Shelf, Library, Punishments and Rewards. From there, I would draw from my draw cards, which determine how I draw from the actual TBR deck. Then, I would find books that matched the prompts stated on the cards, or would complete the rewards and punishments that were drawn (usually throughout the month). If I completed my entire TBR at the end of the month, I was allowed. to draw a reward. If I didn't, I had to draw a punishment card for each book I did not complete. Of course, you can use the game however you like!
