Needle felted cat ornament and snowman ornament

The holidays will be here before you know it. Here are some needle felted ornaments/decorations to give your home a festive touch, or to adorn your house year round. Each one is handmade by me so they are unique and while some may be similar they will never be exactly alike. I pour love and time into each sculpture and they can take anywhere from 5 hours to days to complete. Some are made extremely dense and others are made to be lighter and more ethereal. Please take a look and consider purchasing these new items as a gift for a family member, friend, animal lover or simply treat yourself.

Needle felting is an amazing and magical transformation of wool fibers to detailed sculptures. Using specialized needles to poke, prod and shape handfuls of wool, they ultimately turn into something tangible and solid. They are very lightweight and delicate therefore are not a toy. They can be torn or chewed apart by human or animal so should be placed out of reach of children and pets. Some of my needle felted works are more realistic and others are more interpretative, but still catch the essence of whichever creature I am inspired to make. Some are for décor on your desk, shelf, countertops, workspace and some can be hung from the ceiling, as a wall hanging or an ornament on a Christmas tree.
