love your sweater! Wait, is that a sweater?? They will never know! The chunky knitted honeycomb stitch pattern gives tons of visual interest peeking out of your jacket, vest, or coat. Team Turtleneck Cowl
This quickie dickie can be worn underneath a jacket or vest without the bulky profile of an entire sweater underneath. After playing around with a few designs, this one worked out so well AND only takes 1 skein of bulky yarn. WINNING! This cowl works up lightening fast and you’ll be ready to wear it (or gift it!) in no time! All the style, none of the bulk! I have included instructions for both a mock turtleneck and a chunkier, full fold over turtleneck. We all need options!

Knollwood Cowl
This cowl works up lightening fast t so you’ll be ready to wear it (or gift it!) in no time! I wanted something that covered up that “V” space left open when my coat was buttoned, without the bulky profile of an entire scarf tucked underneath. After playing around with a few lengths, I’m happy I kept the long, deep “V” shape, and now I also wear this under blazers over just a thin cami too… all the warmth and style, none of the bulk!

I have also included the use of a pretty inexpensive yarn you can find in any Michael's store. No fancy-schmancy pricey yarns are needed for this project, but I will tell you that if you ever have the opportunity to splurge on some hand spun yarns, please do so. They are ALWAYS worth it, especially when you want to treat yourself, or give a special gift.
I have carefully reviewed this pattern, and have had it tested, but if you see any errors feel free to let me know and I will revise. I am always around for any question (and chatting!) so feel free to convo me if you need help. We all need a little help sometimes. I also encourage you to watch knitting videos on You Tube. I've learned so much from all the talented people out there.
