Highlights

General Finishes' High Performance Topcoat (HPTC) is the winner of Fine Woodworking's "Best Overall Choice Award," High Performance Topcoat was voted as the hardest, most durable consumer polyurethane topcoat. It can be brushed or sprayed. Available in four sheens including a new sheen, Dead Flat which is formulated with new patented polymer technology.

Available in pint sizes in Gloss, Semi Gloss, Satin, and Dead Flat.

CAUTION: Do NOT use GF High Performance or any other clear coat, over white or light paints as it may cause yellowing. Any clear coat can become reactive over wood substrates or existing finishes causing tannin, stain or dye bleed-through

If needed, you can add Extender to increase the open time (how long the top coat stays wet and workable)

Apply 2-3 coats using a sprayer, foam brush, applicator pad, or roller.

You can find General Finishes step-by-step application instructions here: https://generalfinishes.com/wood-finishes-retail/water-based-topcoats-and-sanding-sealer/high-performance-polyurethane-water#
