I am so excited about these ornaments! A project that I have been wanting to make for a while now. I helped a friend move this past summer, and she had a Ziploc bag of silverware she didn't want, and of course I said I would take it! And now, finally these adorable spoons are the result!
UPDATE: All the old spoons I used as mentioned above, have sold. I now purchase soup spoons to make these, so your spoon(s) will be the "shape" of the one in the first photo. Also, there is no pattern on the handle of these spoons, as opposed to the ones in the photos.

The handles are grubbed up to make them look rusty. The faces are hand painted and grubbed up around the edges and on the back. The handles are wrapped with rusty wire with a hook at the top for hanging. They have a homespun tie with a rusty bell and a grubby tag in the center of the handle.

Sizes of the spoons vary. Some are teaspoons, some are soup spoons, and others are small tablespoons. Some have a red homespun tie, and some have a green homespun tie.

These make a great gift for an ornament exchange, and also a great stocking stuffer, or a unique gift for a snowman collector. These can also be used as bowl fillers.
