To clean out the birdhouses, I use a pair of hobby tweezers to reach inside after the birds have left for their nesting season to pull out the old nest materials. It works well.

If your feeder or birdhouse needs cleaning, you can cleanse with non-abrasive sponge/ cloth ,warm water and mild soap.

Birds do remember where feeders are so will continue to come back to the location to feed on the food you replenish daily. To stop feeding birds will only see them move to new grounds. As backyard birds memories have shown to last up to 6 months, you won't have an issue providing you keep feeding them. Its not so much the feed in use the birds remember, but will more so associate the shape and style of feeders as a source of food. Birds remember feeder locations because its always within reach, but too far to travel could see them forget bird feeders, while seeking out more local locations. Refilling the bird feeder often will stop the birds from finding a new backyard to use.

I have mine hanging on a suction cup hook on the bathroom window. It can hang from a tree branch, hooks on windows , anywhere you think the birds will love it. The bird house is made from PLA , a plastic substitute used for 3d printing made from fermented plant starch (usually corn) and is biodegradable .
The feeder can hold 2 cups of seed. The feeder dimensions are 5.5 " width x 8 " height. It hangs from a sturdy leather cord. All of the items in our shop will be carefully and thoughtfully packaged for gift giving. Also we will kindly include a gift note, (small decorative card with envelope) , Just send me a message letting me know what you want it to say -Free of charge.
