Please read my T&C’s carefully before purchasing, by purchasing with Doris & Fred you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website and by accessing this website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out here. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions you may not use or access this website. These terms and conditions abide by The Consumer Contract Regulations. You’re welcome to print or store these terms for your own records.
Doris & Fred own the copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights in all material and content on this website, which you may use, download, copy, publish, transmit or otherwise make available by any other means only for your own personal, non–commercial use. Any other use or reproduction of the material or content is strictly prohibited. You may not create any link to this website without prior written consent, nor may you restrict or inhibit the use or enjoyment of it by anyone else. While we will use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any information we place on the Doris & Fred website/etsy page, we make no warranties, whether express or implied in relation to its accuracy.
Wherever the term “Working Days or Hours” is featured, this excludes bank holidays, weekends and public holidays such as Christmas. Any holiday times will be clearly displayed on the homepage. When you place an order with Doris & Fred you will be sent an order confirmation detailing your order, this is giving you ample opportunity to correct any possible errors. Should you have any complaints, please send them to the contact information detailed at the bottom of this document. These terms and conditions apply to all transactions on this site. They do not affect your statutory rights.
PRICES:
Prices are subject to change but are correct at time of posting. Any glitches, errors or typos are not required to be honoured. If an error or inaccuracy is discovered with regards to the advertised price of the goods that you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible by e-mail. This will be to inform you of the correct price of the goods, and to ask you if you wish to continue with the order at the amended price, or to cancel the order altogether. Any special offers will have a clear displayed end date.

Please check your personalised text when ordering, any spelling or grammar errors must be checked for by the customer.
Any errors noticed after printing and shipping of goods will not be refunded/exchanged.
CUSTOMER LOGOS AND ARTWORK:
Doris & Fred accepts artwork/logos in jpeg, ai, eps or pdf format.
Doris & Fred does not accept artwork/logo in Word, Excel or PowerPoint format All artwork must be hi resolution ideally 300dpi or more.
All logos and artwork must be your own work or you must own the copyright for them.
I can not use images found on the internet or that belong to someone else.
PAYMENT :
PayPal is our preferred method of payment, you may pay with your PayPal account or with a card on their secure system.
Or you can pay with a card (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express debit and credit cards) via the etsy payments system
Any contract for purchases made through the website/etsy will be with Doris & Fred. Doris & Fred must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted, and the contract formed.
Once payment has been received Doris & Fred will confirm that your order has been received by sending an email to you at the email address you provide. The shipment email will include your name, the order number and the total price. Doris & Fred’s acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us on these terms. Any term sought to be imposed by you in your order will not form part of the contract.

SHIPPING:
Doris & Fred posts most UK orders via Royal Mail regular 1st class mail.
It is Royal Mail’s policy to return your item to the sorting office or leave with a neighbour if you are not home to accept your delivery and/or it will not fit through your letter box.
A red card will be left in these cases.
Should your order not arrive, please contact Doris & Fred as soon as possible, a full refund or a replacement will be offered once 15 days have passed.

What can I have written on the front? - Anything you can dream up! Sometimes it is just a name, sometimes a quote, there are lots of examples on my Facebook page
Can I have my business logo on the cover? - Of course, but you must own the copyright to any image you send me.
What format should my logo be and how do I send it? - a jpeg is fine as long as it is high resolution (300dpi) or an ai , pdf or psd file. Please email after check out to dorisandfred [!at] gmail.com
Do you send a proof or preview of my cover or bespoke design? - If you request it yes, just ask when you check out.
Can I send you my own image for the cover? - Yes, but please contact me before ordering
Can I send an image or logo I found online? - NO! You must own the rights to reproduce any image you send me.
Do you take orders for new books? or bespoke designs? - Sometimes, please contact me before ordering
What payment methods do you accept? - Paypal, Visa Master card and American Express via paypal or etsy checkout
How much are your books? - They vary, all prices on the items
Where is my order? - If your order hasn't arrived 14 days after dispatch please contact me to chase it up with Royal Mail

The colour of my book isn't the same as what I saw on my screen, why? - I am afraid screens are all different and so colours can sometimes appear different. if you need to match a colour please get in touch
I want to cancel my order - Please contact me as soon as possible, If I have already started making your order then it won't be possible, due to the personalised nature of my products, if I haven't started then I am happy to cancel an order. Just ask.
Can you do a rush order I need it as soon as possible? - Sometimes, please contact me before ordering to check on my timings, usually my lead time is 7-14 days.
Do you post outside the UK? - Absolutely, if you don't see your country in the shipping instructions at checkout then please contact me prior to ordering
Do you take wholesale orders? - Sometimes, please contact me at dorisandfred [!at] gmail.com
How long will my order take? - Usually 7-14 working days, sometimes it will be faster. I will always advise you if there is a problem, I am working around my family so sometimes life happens, I hope you will understand.
Where is it made? - I make everything to order by hand in my little garden studio. I design, print and bind everything myself.
Do you design the books? - I do, all the covers are my original artwork, as are the insides of every book
How do you ship? - I use Royal Mail first class. If you require a different service please contact me before you order
What are your books made of? - Each book has a greyboard back and a 230gsm front cover, there is a 240 micron plastic cover sheet on the front and the back to protect your book. The majority of my books are filled with bright white 90gsm paper, the scrap books have 210gsm card pages. Almost all have hand cut curved corners to make them feel a little more special.

Digital printable files: You may use my products to create digital printable files (personally or commercially). Files must be flattened (jpg or PDF) and personalized for your customer. You cannot use my graphics to sell printable blanks or templates for others to personalize.
Printed products: You may use my products to create printed stationery, handmade or printed cards, brochures, flyers, business cards, printed party or stationery elements, games, jewellery, clothing, accessories, home decor, etc. You can also create stationery or other printed products to sell on your Etsy, Storenvy, and in your own store.
You may NOT use the graphics to sell on any print-on-demand (POD) websites like Zazzle, Society6, and Envelop, among others.
Logo and Web Designers: You can use my products commercially to create logo and web designs to sell if the clipart or papers are part of the design.
You may NOT sell the graphic as is as the logo by itself. You may create website/blog templates, banners, headers, footers, buttons and store front designs if it is flattened and 72 dpi.
Digital scrapbooking: You may use all products for your personal use only.
Teachers and Educators: You can use my products personally, commercially for digital games or educational sheets. Please provide a clickable link on the PDF or website where you display my images. For example: Graphic by dorisandfred.etsy.com
*YOU MAY NOT* resell as is, redistribute my original files, use on print-on-demand websites like Zazzle, Society6, Envelop, etc., sell as digitised embroidery, turn into brushes/tubes or shapes, create rubber stamps from the image, resell as clip art, offer as freebies, sell as digital collage sheets, or sell as layered templates of any kind. This includes sharing of any kind with anyone.
THIS LICENSE IS FOR SMALL BUSINESS ONLY. For everything else, including industrial manufacturing, an extended license is required (contact me for more information).
