1. What is included in the plans?

Every plan includes a complete materials and cut list, a tool list, full 2D plans and elevations, detailed drawings, and 3D step by step assembly diagrams. All measurements are given in both Imperial (inches) and Metric (cm), so you can build with whichever system you prefer. Files are formatted to print on standard US Letter paper. Selected plans also include an editable Excel material sheet.

2. How do I download my files after purchase?

Your files are available immediately after payment is confirmed. Go to You > Purchases and reviews > Download Files. If the download does not start in the Etsy mobile app, please open Etsy in a web browser on your phone or computer instead. That solves it in almost every case. Everything is digital, so nothing is shipped to you. Still stuck? Message me and I will send the files directly.

3. Can I build this myself?

Yes. Every plan is designed by two interior architects and drawn in full 3D before it is published, so the drawings match what you actually build. Instructions are written step by step and supported with 3D diagrams, so beginners can follow along. Basic woodworking tools and some DIY experience will make the build easier, but no professional training is required.

4. Do I need a building permit?

That depends on where you live. Many areas allow small outbuildings under a certain size without a permit, but rules differ by city and county. Please check your local building codes and setback requirements before you start. Our plans include full dimensions and material specifications, which is usually what your local office will ask to see.

5. Can I see the project in 3D before I build?

Yes. Our plans include 3D assembly diagrams so you can see exactly how each part fits together before you cut any material. Selected plans also come with a 3D model file you can rotate and inspect. No extra software installation is required.

6. How much will it cost to build?

Material prices vary a lot by country and even by state, so we cannot give one fixed cost. Instead, every plan includes a complete material and cut list, and selected plans come with an Excel sheet where you can enter your own local prices and calculate your exact budget. The cut list is also laid out to reduce offcuts, which keeps your material cost down.

7. Can I build this and sell the finished structure?

You are welcome to build from our plans for your own use, and you may sell structures you personally build from them. What is not permitted is reselling, sharing or redistributing the plan files themselves, or using our drawings and images in your own listings.

8. What if I have a problem with my plan?

Digital downloads cannot be returned or exchanged, but I do not want anyone left with a file they cannot use. If a file will not open, a page is unclear, or something in the drawings does not add up, please message me first. I usually reply within a few hours and will fix or resend it.
