This pattern is called BUBU Bag.

"BUBU" is a slang word for slumber or rest.
You can confidently do that with the BUBU-Bag, because it is delightfully softly buffered.
In addition, the "BU-" in BUBU also stands for BUCKET, because the BUBU bag is based on the timeless design classic "Bucket-Bag".
Just different and new!

The BUBU bag impresses with a homemade, wonderfully voluminous buffering.
It has a classic eyelet closure with internal loops.
Alternatively, it can be sewn without eyelets with an inside snap closure.
Also, you can make a backpack out of the BUBU bag by simply rethreading the webbing.

The homemade buffering gives the bag a really cozy, plump look that can never be achieved by a finished quilted fabric.
In addition, the bag has a very good stand and stability due to the buffering.

The BUBU bag has an inside zippered pocket for keys, wallet or other small items
and an additional inside pocket for a cell phone.

The finished dimensions of the BUBU bag are: 28 cm wide, 30 cm high (without webbing).

Sewing level: You should already have some sewing experience,
then you will definitely manage the Doudou bag.

Material needed:
Outer fabric (70 x 140 cm), lower fabric (not visible fabric) 50 x 140 cm, lining fabric 40 x 140 cm, a small pack of high-quality filling cotton (approx. 300 g),
Vlieseline H 180, H240, H630, 2 D-rings, 2 pocket carabiners, 4 eyelets (8 or 10 mm diameter), 20 cm continuous zipper with a zipperlet


Fabric recommendation:
Nylon, satin, corduroy, terry, silk, faux leather or softshell, plush - almost anything is possible.
You should only make sure that the fabric is not too stiff, otherwise the bag will be too difficult to sew.
