Invite an adorable, primitive, grungy Uncle Sam into your home this summer season to add some rustic patriotic cheer!

Each of these Uncle Sams is created from 100% cotton and the muslin for their faces has been hand dyed with coffee and spices to give them that special prim, grunge look. I hand stitch each of their quirky little faces, their noses are needle sculpted. They each sport a set of faintly rosy cheeks, white bushy eyebrows and a wool roving beard that has been stitched into place. They are stuffed with polyfill and stitched closed.

Each Sam comes with a coffee dyed tag with the words "Uncle Sam" Or "1776" along with a rusty jingle bell, pinned to his suit using a rustic bulb pin. They each sport wooden star buttons on their jacket fronts. Each Sam has a red striped ticking hat with a coordinating hat band in the same color as his jacket.

Each Sam is slightly different as each is hand cut and stitched. Sizes will vary slightly. Each one has its own unique personality.

These cuties may smell faintly of cinnamon and spices. They are made to have a grungy, homespun appeal and do have some spotting and uneven seams and ragged edges to give them that primitive look.

They come in two different variations, one with a blue plaid homespun jacket and one with a blue and white polka dot fabric for his jacket. You can choose the variation you prefer.

These little Sams are the perfect addition to tuck into a prim July 4th cupboard display, a basket on the hearth, sit on a chair, mantle or shelf. They are also the perfect addition to patriotic, July 4th tiered tray displays.

Since these are made to order, there will be slight differences in each one as each Sam is unique. The finished product will look very close to what is pictured.

However, since some of the fabric is hand dyed, colorations will vary slightly. Also the facial expressions vary slightly since they are hand stitched. But you will receive a Sam that looks very close to what is pictured.
