• Hooks are 14k Gold-Plated Steel, compatible with most sensitive ears

CONSTRUCTION / DESIGN * * *

• After cutting, the leather is hand painted, using a high quality leather paint (which is both flexible and waterproof, hurrah!)
• Each piece is lovingly assembled by hand, from start to finish.
• All of our pieces are crafted in our studio in beautiful Vancouver, Canada.

RECYCLED LEATHER / WHY DO WE USE IT? * * *

• We're passionate about sustainability. By using recycled leather (salvaged from scraps and second-hand clothing) we are celebrating materials that would otherwise end up in the trash.
• Leather is a rewarding material to work with. It's long wearing & durable. The second-hand leather we use is still in good condition, and retains its quality.
• It's also about challenging ourselves! One of our biggest goals is to use leather in a way you don't expect to see it, masquerading as something entirely different.

CARING FOR LEATHER JEWELRY ** *

• Avoid getting your jewelry too wet, although a bit of water (getting caught in the rain or wet hair) should be ok.
• Use care when removing and storing jewelry
• It's best to store long pieces hanging, or laying flat. Avoid storing other objects on top of your leather jewelry.

When taken care of properly, leather jewelry can have a long, happy life!

I love a statement earring, and these are the perfect pair. They are super lightweight which is such a breath of fresh air since most statement earrings are so big and heavy! I got so many compliments on these and I find myself figuring out outfits i can wear to showcase them! So glad i finally treated myself to them

I really like the color combinations offered by the designer. I hesitated for a long time… before choosing 4 pairs. The jewelry meets my expectations. Colors, leather, finishes, everything is there. Be careful, they are delicate and fragile. They may react to heat. They are delivered flat and wrapped in tissue paper. I advise you to use the same method as the designer if, like me, you can't resist the urge to take them on vacation.

J’aime beaucoup les combinaisons de couleurs proposées par la créatrice. J’ai hésité longuement… avant de choisir 4 paires. Les bijoux sont conformes à mes attentes. Couleurs, cuir, finitions, tout y est. Attention, elles sont délicates et fragiles. Il se peut qu’elles réagissent à la chaleur. Elles sont livrées à plat et emballées dans du papier de soie. Je vous conseille d’utiliser la même méthode que la créatrice si, comme moi, vous ne résistez pas à l’envie de les emmener en vacances.
