Gift wrapping and packaging

I do not gift wrap, but your item comes packaged in tissue paper with a ribbon, and would be really cute placed in a gift bag as it comes packaged. Your order will ship in a polymailer to protect it from the elements. On occasion your order might have some packaging recycled in an effort to help save the environment.

Custom and personalized orders

If you are interested in an item in my shop, but would like it in another color, fiber, size not available, or a minor alteration to the design feel free to contact me for a custom order. I do not offer custom orders to make completely new products not available in my shop, for example Christmas ornaments, convertible mittens, gloves with fingers, or a dress. All custom orders must be paid for in full, upfront and are not returnable. However, I will send pictures upon completion of your item so that you may approve of it before it is sent.

I would like to exchange my item for something different, what do I do?

If you would like to exchange your item for another item, be it style, size or color, you will need to follow the return process in our return policy. You can then place an order online for the item you wish to receive. Shipping costs on returns or exchange orders are the buyers responsibility and are non-refundable.

Womens Handmade Summer Shrug for Dress Loose Knitted Bolero

This hand knit sheer bolero is the perfect cover up for the upper arms and shoulders, for a night out, special occasion, or anytime you want a little more coverage.

Unique Design
Most hand knit shrugs are made in a rectangle shape and sewn into a tube with an opening for the arms and relies on stretch and gravity to shape the garment. I created this design instead to have shaping for a better fit.

* Extend the wear of tube, sleeveless and short sleeved tops and dresses into fall.
* Lightweight, easy to throw into a purse or bag for traveling or to have on hand when you want a little more coverage
* Sheer, delicate open weave, loose knit
* Super soft acrylic yarn
* Stretchy
* Unstretched covers to mid back, can stretch longer if desired by pulling down when worn (see video for example)
* Sleeves and armholes are a little loose fit
* Mid length/below elbow sleeves (For average height women model pic is 5ft 6")

Delicate wearing because open knit can snag easily. If you do however get a snag it can be easily fixed. Learn how here:

Hand wash and lay flat to dry for best results. You can wash in the machine on cold with like colors in a lingerie bag, but the yarn will pill more than if you hand washed them. No bleach.
