Do you spend hours looking for the perfect homeschool planner only to buy one and end up using half the pages?
Have you invested in a nicer planner thinking that will be your answer only to find yourself in the same boat as you were when you bought the simple calendar?
Because, same! After trying to make cheap planners work and not wanting to invest in a planner I know I will not utilize properly, I decided to take matters into my own hands.
If you struggle to know which planner for you, it's time to customize! I took out all the work for you- you just need to plug in your child's name and subjects!
This planner is a simple weekly sheet that you will fill out for your child.
It includes a place for your child's
-Name
-Grade/level
-Your "term" or "unit"
-The week you're in
Next, I included Charlotte Mason enrichment/beauty subjects. Each week, I choose to write in what my child is studying that way I have a record. If these subjects are not part of your routine, you can easily switch them out for something else. This template is completely CUSTOMIZABLE!
Then you have your daily subjects. You can add or take away as needed. This allows you to simply check off each day that you complete daily tasks.
The "books read" section is a spot where you can quickly jot down the books you read that week. No more trying to remember weeks later! If this doesn't work for you, try using this space for notes for any extra things you want to record!
Lastly is your weekly rotation subjects. If there is a subject you don't do every single day, put it in this section and check the box once complete.
It's SIMPLE! It's BEAUTIFUL!
Print a fresh copy each week and file away for your records.
