This item is perfect for any rock musician looking for some professional backing tracks to compose and improvise over. The tracks contain drums only, no extra instruments, so you are not restricted to just one key or style. The snare drum is low-tuned for a nice chunky rock tone which doesn't clash with the pronounced midrange frequencies of distorted guitars.

All drums were recorded with industry standard mics at 24-bit 44.1kHz using a drum room balance appropriate for hard rock music, but they will also work with indie/alternative rock, and pop with attitude.

Subtle EQ and fairly robust compression has been applied for a solid rock sound, but there's enough headroom left for your own processing or additional master compression.

I've included two versions. The original 24-bit recordings and the 'remastered' 16-bit versions. The 16-bit versions have a bit more punch and presence.

There are 18 tracks in 16-bit & 24-bit WAV format:

Track 2 (4:24) 83bpm [4/4]
