Believe it or not, this pattern was born from a sunset.
I was so inspired to try and capture the colors of the sky…it looked like it was on fire!
The method of construction for this blanket is overlay mosaic crochet.

-Approximately 48” x 56”

Hook Size:
-Body: 5/0 – 3 mm hook
-Border: C – 2.75mm hook

Yarn:
-Color A (Main Color): Scheepjes Whirl in “Red Velvet Sunrise”, fingering weight, 1000 metres/1093 yards per ball – 2 balls needed
-Color B (Pattern and Border Color): Scheepjes Whirlette in “Liquorice”, fingering weight, 455 metres/497 yards per ball – 7 balls needed
Note: if you want a narrower border you may not need all 7 balls of Whirlette.
