The wall surface must be smooth, clean and completely dry!! For „Peel and Stick” remember to wait 2 weeks after painting the wall! Wallpapers works very well on smooth surfaces finished with washable paint! Also, both Peel&Stick and HP WallArt does NOT work on the wall painted with latex paint / oil paint / medium textured walls! Simply wallpaper will not adhere in these cases!! To avoid this the paint needs to be pealed off and the wall needs to be tarnish with a sandpaper until surface gets really smooth - this way it would make the wallpaper stick to the wall. Before hanging wallpaper, apply at least a couple of coats of dry wall primer - this seals the surface to a degree and will make subsequent removal of the wallpaper easier.
