𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿:

𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹:
Advanced/ Adventurous Intermediate

𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲:
• Overlay Mosaic Crochet with slanted stitches: each round is made with one color and consists of single crochet in the back loop (sc blo) and double crochet in the front loop (dc flo)

𝗦𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀:
• In addition to vertical dc, I also use slanted dc and extended dc (made one or two stitches back or forward), decreases, increases, and occasionally, front post stitches
• There is a video and explanation for all stitches

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀:

Yarn2 (light): 107g (includes 100g for body and 7g for whiskers and reflection in the eye)
Yarn3 (optional; for nose and eyes): 3g (for nose), 5g (for eyes)

1 Whirl in 779/ Passion Fruit Melt
1 Whirlette in 866/ Almond Butter
1 Whirlette in 881/ Yummy (for eyes)

For a bag:
Yarn1 (dark): 195g (includes 120g for body, 10g for upper edge backing, 40g for handles, optional 25g for bottom)
Yarn2 (light): 107g (includes 100g for body and 7g for whiskers and reflection in the eye)
Yarn3 (optional; for nose and eyes): 3g (for nose), 5g (for eyes)
Bag prototype (without bottom):
1 Whirl in 773/ Blackcurrant Squeeze Me
1 Whirlette in 852/ Frosted
1 Whirlette in 881/ Yummy (for eyes)

• Crochet hooks 2.5mm and 2.75mm (for bag handles)

Other materials and tools for a bag:
• 1 x sew-on magnetic clasp
• 45cm/ 17 ¾'' of pre-quilted fabric (bag height + 6cm/ 2 ⅜'')
• 9cm x 76cm/ 3 ½'' x 30'' (bag width x 2 + 4cm/ 1 ½'') piece of buckram (very stiff but thin backing for hats and bags) or Pellon 70 Peltex Sew-In Ultra Firm Stabilizer to reinforce the upper edge
OR 39cm x 74cm/ 15 ⅜'' x 29 ⅛'' of the same material to line the entire bag (prototype)
• Optional for reinforcing the bottom: 29cm x 6.5cm/ 11 ⅜'' x 2 ⅝'' (bag bottom size – 1.5cm/ ¾'' from each side) piece of plastic canvas
