Builder's Advice:
Read through the full plan PDF before cutting a single piece - the build sequence matters, particularly around the drawer slide installation and the footboard assembly. The cut list is organised by assembly stage to make this straightforward.
Secret Sauce: Build a simple assembly jig from scrap to hold the drawer box sides at exactly 90 degrees while the glue sets. Drawer boxes that are even slightly out of square will bind on the slides no matter how well the slides are installed.
