What size are your labels? How many labels are on each sheet?

Labels are sold by the sheet. The number of labels you get per sheet depends on the label size you choose. ★★★ROUND LABEL SIZES★★★ 1.5 inch (30 labels per sheet) for small 1 oz favor jars lids 2 inch (20 labels per sheet) for regular mouth lids 2.5 inch (12 labels per sheet) for wide mouth lids ★★★OTHER LABEL SIZES★★★ Small hearts .75" x .75" (108 labels per sheet) Large hearts 2.275" x 1.9" (15 labels per sheet) Small ovals 2.5" x 1.375" (21 labels per sheet) Large ovals 3.25" x 2" (10 labels per sheet) Rectangles 3.5" x 2" (8 labels per sheet) Rectangles – 2.65” x 1” (30 per sheet) Rectangles – 1.75” x .67” (60 per sheet)

What's the best size label to get for my jar?

Labels can be applied to canning jar lids or the front of the glass jar. Mason canning jars can have either regular mouth or wide mouth lids. Please refer to the chart photo on Etsy to determine what size you need for your lids. https://i.etsystatic.com/5898555/r/il/d7ceaf/1261784824/il_1588xN.1261784824_33pg.jpg

What size jars do your cloth jam jar covers fit?

Fabric cloth covers are pre-cut to 6" circles since that works on most canning jar sizes. The 6" covers fit on regular mouth or wide mouth jars. Please refer to the size charts on my blog to see how cloth toppers look on various sized jars. https://i.etsystatic.com/5898555/r/il/c98401/1252874176/il_1588xN.1252874176_ntox.jpg

Are your canning labels easy to write on?

Yes! We print only on matte paper labels. Matte paper stock allows you to easily write on them with any marker or pen without smearing. But, we do recommend letting the ink dry a little before applying them to your surface.

Are your labels waterproof? Can they be used for freezer foods?

Our labels are paper, not vinyl. So they aren’t 100% waterproof. They're printed on a high end laser printer, so the colors won’t run and bleed like an inkjet print if they get wet. Our labels can be used for freezer foods. However the paper will ripple slightly due to condensation and moisture.

Are you able to do custom label orders?

We can adjust labels for a customization fee or design NEW labels! OUR PROCESS: 1. We give you a price quote for your project. 2. After price quote approval, we create a custom order for you to purchase BEFORE we begin design work. 3. After purchase, we send a low-res watermarked JPEG proof for review. If you request revisions outside of your original request, we can give you a revised quote. 4. Once approved, we will print & ship. ★ Custom design fees are NOT refundable since they pay for our time. ★ You will NOT be given digital art files to print yourself. ★ You DO NOT own the copyright of our custom design. Do NOT reproduce our labels for logos or marketing materials. ★ Colors on computer monitors may vary slightly from printed labels.

Do you sell digital download labels so I can print myself? Or can you print MY own label design?

No. We only sell printed labels. You will NOT receive digital art files to print yourself. You will not “own” our designs. We retain the copyright for all of our custom labels. We can print customer-provided designs for an additional fee. We can also add logos or photos to our labels. Art needs to be high resolution & free of any copyright issues. We will need to inspect the art in order to provide a price quote. Please contact us for details & requirements. http://www.etsy.com/convo_new.php?to_username=CanningCrafts

Seller's description

Decorate cookie mason jars with this holiday gift-giving set. This DIY kit makes it easy to create festive cookie mason jar gifts for friends & family using YOUR own jar recipe. Just gather the ingredients and supply your own jars. This will save a ton on shipping costly pre-made cookie jars. Provide YOUR recipe name & baking directions & I add them to the printed tags & labels. See ordering & product details below.
This listing includes materials to decorate 12 quart mason jars:
★ 12 - red snowflake 6" cloth covers
★ 12 - 2.5" round cookie labels for front of jars
★ 12- gift hang tags with baking directions (approx. size 1.75" x 3.25"). To & From lines are on the bottom of the tags.
★ 12 - pre-cut ribbons measuring 3/8" x 20" (There are 3 color choices available. All 12 pieces will be of the SAME color)
★ Set is packaged in a cello poly bag.

★ NOTE: This listing does NOT include mason jars or ingredients. It's only the decorations for the jars that YOU will fill and decorate yourself.

★ TO ORDER, tell me the following in the personalization box or "Note to Seller" box on the cart checkout page:
• Round label text (cookie name)
• Recipe hang tag text: Please list baking directions for ONE recipe in a SHORT & easy step-by-step format (all 12 tags print with the same recipe). I will NOT edit or number your steps—I will copy & paste as-is. I can also preprint ONE "From" name on the hang tags.

★ Recipe hang tag directions MUST be sent as editable text when the order is placed. Do NOT send a photograph, JPEG, document, or html link to a recipe online for the hang tag baking directions!

★ I will use the same fonts & colors as shown on the photos. I will show you 1 proof before printing. Proof will be sent thru Etsy messages within a few days of your purchase for approval (check your email & junk mail). ^ Price includes initial proof & 1 round of revisions only.

Please read my full custom policies:

★ The fabric covers in photos are shown on regular mouth quart jars. They will fit on wide mouth jars, but about half of the fabric will show around the edges of the lid compared to what the jars in my photos show.

★ 2.5" round labels are for fronts of jars. They could go on top of a wide mouth jar, but will not fit lids of regular mouth jars.

★ Set can also be purchased using my existing cookie recipes:
