The incredible celestial event of the total solar eclipse inspired us to make these earrings, but they also look a lot like sunflowers! After all, sunflowers have their name for a reason, right? ;) A fun and funky pair of earrings for the warm summer months and beyond!

These earrings are laser cut from two types of acrylic; the Sun is made from a transparent yellow acrylic, and the Moon passing in front of the sun is made from a slightly transparent, dark gray (nearly black) acrylic. The Moon dangles freely at the center of the Sun's rays. The rays of the sun are hand-painted with gold acrylic paint, and then sealed with clear glossy spray paint for longevity. Attached to gold-toned, hypoallergenic hardware and ear wires.

These earrings measure just over 1.25 inches long x 1.25 inches wide. The total drop length is 2 inches long (including the ear wires). These are lightweight and comfortable enough for all-day wear, but still big enough to make a statement!
