Make yourself a sunhat or bucket hat with less than 5% fabric waste.

This hat has an unusual construction, a self-lined crown, interior ribbon and topstitched brim. It comes in five sizes, to fit a 54cm/21¼" - 62cm/24½" head. The larger the size, the smaller the percent of fabric waste.
UPDATE: sizes 64cm/25¼" and 66cm/26" have been added; pattern pieces in a separate zip file.

This pattern is made for woven fabrics.
Suitable fabrics for the sunhat include quilting-weight cotton, chambray and light weight cotton drill. The fabric needs to be fairly light in weight so the brim doesn't droop.
The bucket hat fabric can be medium or light weight, for example cotton drill, lightweight denim, baby cord, or the above suggestions for the sunhat.
One-way prints are fine. Stripes work well if they're the kind that are random and don't particularly need matching.

The pattern is provided as a printable pdf, tiled to A4 or US Letter paper sizes.
A YouTube sew-a-long video link is included.
The instructions are for machine sewing, but you could sew the whole hat by hand if desired.

Please note this is a DIGITAL sewing pattern, NOT a physical product.
This isn't a beginner's pattern; some sewing experience is required.
The pattern is in metric and imperial.
