NEW LOOK!! I started a new layout which is easier to read and understand. I also added a pre-sewing check list which makes it easy to go through all the steps and ensure to get a perfect result!

The Princess Dress NOVA pattern includes 1 ZIP files and 3 PDFs: The pattern (XXS - 3XL) in DinA4, DINA0 and US LETTER, general information regarding the pattern and how to print it, a tech sheet (like in the pictures) and sewing instructions with pictures. You are able to print out the pattern at home and tape the pages together by aligning the diamonds on the edges of the pages together. DO NOT OVERLAP THE PAGES. DO NOT CUT ANYTHING OFF. You only have to print out ONE PDF. The difference is just in paper size; please research the paper size your country and your printer are using and refer to the PDF with the corresponding name. Alternatively, you can use a projector or get the A0 printed at a copy shop. Please read the general information PDF carefully that will be included in this purchase to be able to print correctly and the sewing instructions for more details.

This pattern is WITHOUT seam allowance. As some of my customers use the imperial system, myself and a lot of my other customers use metric, having no seam allowance in my pattern is just the easiest middle ground. I made sure to prepare this pattern in such a way that you only have to add the same seam allowance of your choice all around the pattern pieces. In my instructional video and the written sewing instructions, I am working with the metric system.

This project is an advanced project. I made sure to explain every single step in both the video and the sewing instruction that everybody can follow along.

MATERIALS

850cm fashion fabric (I used 100% PES organza for this) measured on a 140cm wide standard fabric
50cm backing fabric in a matching color (I used 100% PES for this) measured on a 140cm wide standard fabric
50cm interlining (I used 100% cotton denim for this) measured on a 140cm wide standard fabric
400cm lining (I used 100% rayon for this) measured on a 140cm wide standard fabric
100cm interfacing (I used Vlieseline H180 for this) measured on a 140cm wide standard fabric
interfacing tape with a stay stitch (check interfacing guide for placement on page 3)
65cm in seam zipper in a matching color
2x 5mm wide elastic that fits comfortable around your upper arm for the sleeve hem
200cm 3mm wide plastic boning
optional: bust padding
matching thread
sewing machine with a straight stitch
serger or sewing machine with an overlock stitch and the option to sew a rolled hem or zigzag stitch
iron + ironing mat
good to have: tailor’s ham

Ich war von der Qualität der Anleitung überrascht. Sie ist zwar für Fortgeschrittene geeignet, enthält aber einige tolle Tipps, die auch weniger erfahrenen Näherinnen und Nähern helfen. Ich werde das Muster wahrscheinlich nicht in naher Zukunft nähen, aber die Anleitung hat mich beeindruckt.
