Doesn't she look nice next to my coordinated Mr. Darcy mini pillow? You don't need to stitch the names if you would rather have a Regency or Bridgerton style lady and gent pillow set. (Mr. Darcy sold separately.)

This PDF pattern includes both a color chart and a black/white chart for printing. How-to instructions included for sewing the irregular shaped pillow. Even a beginner sewist can do the pillow using my easy technique that requires no template. Even if you use a different linen size instead of my version, you will be able to use the directions.

Don't own a printer? Take your files to a print shop, such as Staples, Office Depot, Office Max, and they can print them out for you.

Rhonda's patterns are second to none: easy to read, clear transitions from page to page, floss options, detailed instructions, and you can tell she just wants you to have fun stitching. I made this for Valentine's Day, so emphasized the hearts rather than the literary. Still not a pillow-maker, I stitched on 18-ct perforated paper and filled the background with DMC 225. I had a hiccup with the Gentle Arts floss for her dress and skin. The blue was overdyed with gray, and the tan was light and dark, so she ended up looking like she had been camping in the woods for a week in a camo dress without bathing. That's not the look I was going for (no judgement), so I redid those sections using DMC. Seeing her on my mantle makes me happy.

Wow, she's lovely, Leslie! So glad it worked out. Yes, hand dyed threads are tricky, but I am able to get them in a local shop, so I can actually see that particular dye lot. If in doubt, I would go with DMC.

Glad you like her, Cathy! There is a coordinated Mr. Darcy. I hope you saw it! They can be generic Regency character pillows if you leave out the names at the bottom.
