I have ALWAYS been a shoe fanatic. And I've done shoe paintings before. You can kind of see my life story in my paintings -- a long time ago the shoe paintings were fancy pieces that I would fantasize about wearing to a fancy party. Now in my 50s, I'm all about comfort. I've owned a lot of pairs on Converse tennis shoes over the years but now I think I have the most I've ever had (and if not Converse, lots of other sneakers). These are a green plaid specimen that I got at a thrift store in Austin. I love them -- so why not make an homage to my beloved objects? On neon yellow and pink, this will garner attention! This is a limited edition print from an original oil painting. Print is 12" x 16" (standard frame size), and is signed. Printed on 100# cover stock. Great for shoe lovers!
