Complete your outfit with a nature-inspired Headband / Neck Scarf from ‘Found In Nature’! Each headband is individually handmade and printed using light-fast and water-fast inks. They are extremely versatile - scrunch it or fold it over to use as a headband, wear it like a bandana, a scarf or as a face warmer while hitting the slopes or tearing down the bike path! Great for use during yoga, running or any fitness activity.

The abstract design for this Headband / Neck Scarf was inspired by the many iris flowers growing in our New Jersey garden. Also known as the Japanese iris, this perennial plant is native to Japan but now cultivated all over the world. Beginning as a photograph, the image was cropped, cut, and reassembled - creating a design that is unique but still inspired by nature.

MATERIALS

FABRIC
This headband is made from a soft micro knit fabric (85% polyester / 15% spandex) with a smooth surface that is very stretchy and has good recovery. The material naturally wicks moisture away and it has a UPF rating of 50, blocking 98% of harmful UVA/UVB rays. The fabric dries quickly and is naturally antibacterial and odor resistant. Additionally, the artwork is 40-50% visible through to the backside of the fabric.

INK
The image is applied to the headband using eco-solvent sublimation inks with excellent light and water fastness.

HEADBAND SIZE

This headband comes in one-size to-fit-all with a width of 11.5 inches and a circumference of 20.5 inches. The fabric is a 4-way stretch to accommodate different head shapes.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Found In Nature Art Headbands are printed using eco-solvent sublimation inks. Following these care instructions will ensure your headband will remain soft and colorful for many years.

Machine wash in warm water and a phosphate free detergent in a regular cycle. Machine dry on medium to high heat or hang to dry. Iron on synthetic setting.

Expect some minor shrinking of about 1% in width and length.

This headband is meticulously hand-made to order, avoiding mass production. This approach ensures superior quality control and reduces waste, minimizing the environmental impact associated with large inventories. Each headband is individually printed, then cut, sewn, and hand-finished, embodying a true artisanal approach to fashion design.

Delivery is estimated within 2-3 weeks of receiving your order, with the following breakdown: Production time is 7-10 business days from receipt of the order. Once ready, shipment to U.S. residents is via USPS First Class Mail, estimated at 2-4 business days, depending on location. For Canadian residents, shipment is via Canada Post Mail, estimated at 2-7 business days, depending on location.

ABOUT FOUND IN NATURE

Founded in 2020 by my wife and me, our business transforms our passion for nature photography into wearable art. Each design begins as a photograph, captured during our visits to numerous parks and arboretums across the United States and Europe, including our own garden. We then enhance these photographs of flora, animals, and natural scenes by cropping, cutting, and reassembling them in Photoshop to create unique, abstract designs inspired by nature.

After months of experimenting with various fabrics and printing techniques, we chose to partner with a specialty textile company to print our designs. This eco-polyester spandex blend fabric captures the true colors and concepts portrayed in our artwork with a soft, silky finish. The details are crisp, the colors are vibrant, and the image retains 40-50% visibility through to the backside.
