How to scale pattern to my head size?

All my helmet patterns are 100% scale to fit an average adult head: circumference approx 57-59cm/21-22in. If you need a bigger/smaller one please refer to the 'Head size and printing scale' PDF that comes with your digital download - there is a helpful table with sizes and more info on how to scale it accordingly.

What format file am I getting?

All DIY printable patterns are supplied as print-only PDFs on A4 and/or US Letter - please check the file name before printing. If the paper format file you need is not provided - please message me and I will be able to help.

I don't understand the symbols, makers, having problem with the build!

DIGITAL ITEM (print-only PDF file): This is a printable EVA foam template for a space villain-inspired helmet. Previous experience with foam crafting is recommended - a few edges need to be cut at specific angles, but the overall crafting process is very straightforward. This is a great base for all your cosplay creations.

WHAT IS INCLUDED
11-page print-only PDF file (digital template) set to print on US letter/or A4 paper size. All patterns are at a 1:1 scale, clearly marked and labelled with symbols and markers to give you a straightforward and pleasant crafting experience. Step-by-step drawings will help you with the most effective assembly order. Don’t forget to familiarise yourself with symbols, an edge-cutting chart, and recommended foam thicknesses on the explanatory page.

SIZE & FIT
All my DIY helmet patterns are designed to fit an average adult person, with a head circumference of approximately 57-59cm or 21-22in at 100% printing scale. But don’t worry—the PDF file includes a super handy and easy-to-read scaling chart. This chart allows you to adjust the size of the pattern to fit a smaller or larger head size by simply increasing or decreasing the printing scale.

EVA FOAM THICKNESS & QUANTITIES
To successfully build this project you will need:
8mm EVA foam: 80x45cm minimum*
Please keep in mind that the quantities above are the very minimum to craft just 1x helmet at standard size (100% printing scale). I highly recommend getting more foam - just to have extra material in case of any cutting mistakes or adjustments when crafting.

YOUTUBE STEP-BY-STEP VIDEO
Unfortunately, I don’t have at the moment a tutorial for this specific pattern. The good news is that the assembly process is very similar across all the projects - so make sure to check my YouTube channel and watch videos on other, similar projects, learn how to adjust the printing scale for your head size, how to apply contact cement glue and many more that will help you with your build. SKILLS LEVEL
Intermedia - some previous EVA foam crafting experience is highly recommended. This project might require cutting some parts' edges at a specific angle and the assembly is a bit more complex, so make sure to check twice before you cut and refer to the assembly instructions.
