The dish is very nicely painted in the high quality that De Porceleyne Fles is known for. The finely detailed, intricate floral pattern is very bright and vibrant. A vintage hand-painted polychrome delft china wall hanging plate with colorful flowers. Marked on the back “Flora Keramiek, Delfts, Polychroom, Holland, Handwork”. Nice scalloped edge. Has a wired wall hanger on the rear. Measures a full 10 inches in diameter. Condition is excellent as there are NO chips, cracks, crazing, internal staining, or repairs present.
De Porceleyne Fles (also known as Royal Delft) is the most renowned Delftware factory in the Netherlands that still produces handpainted Delftware today. It is the only remaining factory of the 32 earthenware factories that were established in Delft during the 17th century. Founded in 1653, it has been active without interruption for over 365 years.

There may be times where the photo coloration seems different, this is because sometimes I take photos with and without the flash. The darker photos are without flash.

In our disposable society, we forget how paying a premium for quality items allows us to use fewer things because we don't have to throw them out when they inevitably wear out in a few months. Sadly, many people stop analyzing and thinking about the true lifetime value of what they are shopping for, and especially when it comes to lighting.
All items in my shop are vintage and somebody used them before, this means they have some traces of use as normally all used items have, but small scratches, tiny chips should not be an obstacle if you appreciate quality, which is obviously higher for these items than found in most modern items nowadays.

If free shipping or flat rate shipping is offered then it only applies to LOWER 48 U.S. - Shipping is never free for international shipping. Please note, shipping calculators can be very tricky - and often wrong. I ship whichever method is most cost effective for you - regardless of what the auction states. 80% of the time the package will ship via the stated service (ie: fed ex home, priority mail, etc) however I will occasionally have to switch services in order to not lose money on shipping. Also, I do try and combine shipping if you buy multiple items - this almost always means it will ship FED EX since it is more cost effective for heavier packages. Shipping may be higher for P.O. Box, especially for larger items.

BEING GREEN: I strive to run a GREEN business. If possible, clean, appropriate shipping boxes of all sizes and packing materials, are gathered and stored to help reduce landfill. It takes time and effort, but I am proud to do my part to help reduce the stress on our landfills, economy and help reduce our carbon footprint. I strive to be earth friendly in all aspects of my business. It is my responsibility to care for our environment.
